Reviews and Ratings
I had a wonderful time at the resort! The cabin we stayed in was beautifully configured, offering both comfort and stunning views of the surrounding nature. The location was perfect for exploring nearby hiking trails, but the layout of our cabin was a bit awkward for privacy, especially for couples sharing the space. The staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly, making us feel at home during our stay.
The resort offers a scenic wilderness experience with beautiful surroundings and well-equipped cabins. However, frequent weddings can lead to noise disturbances, especially in the evenings. Be sure to check for wedding dates if you prefer a quieter stay. Overall, a great spot for family gatherings and nature enthusiasts.
My stay at Convict Lake Resort was a mixed bag. The beautiful wilderness surroundings and the option for intimate cabins near the lake are highlights, but the frequent wedding events during my visit created noise issues that disrupted the peaceful atmosphere. The cabin was stocked well but showed signs of wear and tear, which may not appeal to everyone.
Staying in the High Sierra cabin offered beautiful views, but the layout was quite impractical. While the aesthetics are pleasing, it lacked functionality, especially for couples seeking privacy. The high shelves and fixtures were a challenge for anyone shorter, which made the stay somewhat uncomfortable. Despite its charm, I wouldn’t return to this particular cabin due to these issues.
